The reunion was led by the Secretary of Education, Luis Ignacio Sanchez Gomez, the session brought together education authorities and higher education institutions who reaffirmed their commitment to consolidate a more relevant, inclusive education system linked to the productive needs of Guanajuato.

Among the main agreements is the creation of a specialized Artificial Intelligence team, made up of representatives from various institutions, whose objective will be to analyze experiences, share best practices and propose strategies for the responsible use of this technology in higher education.

During the session, it was also reported that Guanajuato currently has 269 active microcredentials, developed by 26 higher education institutions, 20 of them are public and six are private. This progress positions the State as a national leader and even has international potential in the implementation of this innovative education model.
