Employment opportunities are brought to Irapuato

Through various programs of the Secretary of Economy, 88,008 people have been placed in a job

More than 20 companies are participating, offering more than 300 job openings

With the participation of more than 20 companies and an offer of 329 vacant positions, the Labor Connection for Inclusion Irapuato 2026 was carried out, a strategy that promotes access to work and strengthens the link between the talent of people and the needs of the productive sector.

Representing the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, was the Undersecretary of Employment and Labor Training, Luis Andres Alvarez Aranda, who highlighted the importance of creating spaces that allow all people to demonstrate their abilities and access professional development opportunities.

This event is part of the vision of the People’s Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to promote an inclusive economy that puts people at the center of decisions and generates better living conditions for Guanajuatense families.

The Secretary of Economy, through the Guanajuato Suma strategy, promotes actions that connect people with the labor market, strengthen their skills and promote inclusion as a key element for the economic development of the State.

As part of these efforts, 88,008 people have been placed in employment through job placement programs, labor mobility, training scholarships, productive projects, and job networking events.

During 2026, the Secretary of Economy has carried out 62 job placement events in different municipalities of Guanajuato:

• 20 job Connections
• 20 recruitments
• 15 university days
• 7 Activate and Connect activities
• Bringing employment alternatives to different sectors of the population

In addition to facilitating connections between companies and job seekers, the Secretary promotes tools to strengthen professional profiles and expand employment opportunities.

These include Microcredentials, which allow individuals to acquire and certify knowledge and skills, and Coneecta, a free platform where people can view job postings and search for vacancies based on their abilities and interests.

This Job Connection event included companies such as:

• DNMEX, DHL, Out helping, Kromberg & Schubert, OXXO, Fi avocado Plaza Cibeles, Natural Health, JM motos, Ushin, Royal Transports, Aztema, Natura, Transportes Movite, Ciudad Medica, Sears, Ares, Fijanciera Independencia, Plasess Mexico, AAM, Wasion, Pepsico, among other
• The companies offered posts in operational, technical and professional profiles
