With an investment of 10 million pesos, the reconstruction of a street in the Barrio Negro, in downtown Romita, has begun

Streets are an essential part of daily life for families: children, senior citizens, merchants, and those who travel to their daily activities all use them.
Having roads in good condition means improved mobility, greater safety, and a contribution to the well-being of those who live in the municipality.
The Secretary of the New Beginning, Rosario Corona Amador, led the start of the reconstruction of the Francisco I. Madero Street, in the Barrio Negro, in downtown Romita, an intervention that responds to a need of the families and strengthens the social infrastructure of the municipality.
For years, residents have requested better traffic conditions, and this project will provide a safer, more functional, and more durable roadway. The project will have a construction period of five months and an estimated lifespan of 30 to 40 years.
The Secretary highlighted that behind each project there is a need expressed by the citizens, as well as the commitment of the People’s Committees, working with management and organizational work, in coordination with the local government, allows for the promotion of projects that address the priorities of each community.
Cotrona also recognized the Mayor of Romita, Pedro Kiyoshi Tanamachi Reyes, for joining efforts with the State Government and working on projects that contribute to improving the living conditions of families in Romita.
As part of the infrastructure actions in the municipality, the Secretary of the New Beginning carried out a supervisory tour of Mariano Matamoros street, where the rehabilitation work is already in process, with the purpose of verifying its progress and monitoring the intervention.
Rosario Corona stressed that the works must be carried out with honesty, quality and durability, and invited the residents to be patient during their execution and to take care of the public spaces once the works are completed.
The People’s Government maintains its commitment to work closely with municipalities and their communities, listening to the needs of families and turning them into concrete actions that improve their environment and generate better development opportunities.
