The Guanajuato Pavilion opened, at the National Potosina Fair (FENAPO) 2026, a window to the identity of Guanajuato, bringing to thousands of visitors the cultural treasures, traditions, gastronomy, crafts and talent that distinguish the six tourist regions of the State and that give life to the pride of being from Guanajuato.
The cultural richness, traditions, and talent of the people of Guanajuato are the stars of FENAPO 2026, because they participate as the Guest of Honor State with a pavilion that was inaugurated by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo; the initiative projects the objectives of the People’s Government regarding the identity that distinguishes Guanajuato before millions of visitors.
At FENAPO, Guanajuato shares expressions that are part of its cultural heritage, such as the Guamares Dance, the estudiantinas and the mojigangas inspired by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, in addition to exhibitions of traditional crafts such as basketry and the work in volcanic stone for the preparation of molcajetes.
The pavilion also brings attendees closer to the gastronomic and productive treasures of Guanajuato, with the participation of companies that offer wines, spirits, cheeses, traditional sweets, bread from Acambaro, leather goods, handicrafts and products supported by Marca Guanajuato.
“We have a very strong presence from Guanajuato, I invite you to the space we have at the Fair; we will have: producers from Marca Guanajuato, artisans, lots of festivities, wine, tequila, mezcal; so that you can see a little piece of what Guanajuato is, in this space of the Potosina Fair,” said the Secretary of Tourism and Identity, Guadalupe Robles Leon.
The Marca Guanajuato Pavilion brings together 22 companies from Guanajuato: eight from the agro-food sector, five from handicrafts, six from leather and footwear, two from the textile sector, and one from developing industries, with an investment of 1.5 million pesos.
As Guest of Honor State in one of the most important promotional platforms in Mexico, the Government of the People and SECTURI reiterate that Guanajuato strengthens its tourist and cultural presence, bringing to FENAPO 2026, which is held from August 7 to the 30th, a living sample of the identity that distinguishes our People.
