The Secretary of Economy highlighted the importance of promoting an industry with greater technological content and added value

The presentation of AUMOVIO’s new identity, at the Las Colinas Industrial Park, marks a new stage for a company that has built an important trajectory in Guanajuato and is part of the evolution of the automotive industry in the State.
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, representing the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, reaffirmed the commitment to maintain a government that is close and attentive to the companies that generate employment, invest and contribute to the economic growth of Guanajuato.
Villasenor noted that the automotive and technology sector represents one of the strengths of the Guanajuatense economy, with companies of international scope, a wide network of suppliers, specialized talent and a strategic location that connects the State with the main markets of North America.
In this context, Guanajuato Suma proposes advancing towards activities with greater technological content, specialization, and added value, as well as strengthening the integration of Guanajuatense companies into global value chains.
Today, Guanajuato has achieved 81.96 percent of its six-year investment attraction goal, with 81 projects representing more than $6.556 billion and 20,747 committed jobs.
AUMOVIO’s trajectory is part of this industrial development. The company has established itself as a key player in automotive manufacturing in the Bajio region, offering technologies and components for mobility, including ABS sensors and electronic braking systems, demonstrating the level of specialization that the industry located in Guanajuato can achieve.
The relationship with Germany also represents an important component of this story. Since 2006, Guanajuato has received 69 German investment projects, representing $3.89 billion and 34,502 direct jobs.
In the case of AUMOVIO, its presence in Guanajuato consists of three production centers, distribution warehouses and a financial center, which together generate more than 3,600 direct jobs in the region.
