Guanajuatense companies are holding business meetings with Liverpool executives through Conexion Industrial

As part of the strategies to strengthen marketing and open new markets for MSMEs of Guanajuato, the People’s Government, through the Secretary of Economy, held a day of business meetings by Guanajuatense companies and executives from Liverpool, one of the most important commercial chain of stres in Mexico.

In line with the vision of the People’s Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to promote economic development, strengthen local businesses and generate more growth opportunities for Guanajuatense families, this commercial link allowed producers and brands from Guanajuato to connect with strategic buyers from the national retail sector.

Through the Industrial Connection program, representatives of Liverpool visited Guanajuato to learn about the offer, quality, design, and production capacity of local companies, as well as to hold business meetings focused on generating commercial integration opportunities.
The seventeen participating companies are from:
- Leon, Moroleon, and Uriangato
The companies are of the sectors:
- Leather, footwear, and textile
- They presented products with high added value, innovation, and a commercial focus

Among the offer presented are:
- Casual, artisanal and fashionable footwear, leather goods, clothing for women, men and children, as well as accessories and design proposals developed by Guanajuatense talent
The participating companies are:
- GERHEL, Grado Zero, EC Cordova, Aretina, Mosvarti, Castelli, Tribeca, Michael Ale, Moda Payaso, Choys, Chiccos Girl Clothing, Claude Le Coq, Valeria Riverz, OM Maribetza, Lup Yins, JHM Intex and Magda Love

Sergio Rosales, Sourcing Manager of Liverpool, and Jorge Munoz, Sourcing Director, noted the excellent quality, design and competitiveness of the products presented by the Guanajuatense companies, recognizing their potential to be integrated into the stores of the commercial chain of stores.
Officials agreed to provide support to the selected companies to coordinate their registration process as suppliers and to define which will be the first brands to make it to the sales floor.


Liverpool will also maintain ongoing communication with the Secretary of Economy to monitor the status of participating companies and strengthen future opportunities for commercial partnerships.
“This type of meetings strengthen the connection between large buyers and local suppliers, facilitating real business opportunities for Guanajuato’s SMEs and consolidating Guanajuato as a competitive state, with talent, quality and the capacity to integrate into the most important commercial chains in Mexico,” said the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar.
