Listening, engaging in dialogue, and walking alongside the people remains a priority for the People’s Government. For this reason, heads of various State agencies visited different People’s Committees in neighborhoods and communities of León this Thursday, where they held direct meetings with citizens to learn about their concerns, proposals, and needs.

These visits are part of the vision promoted by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo to build a Government that is close, humane and present in the territory, that strengthens communication with families and permanently listens to those who live day by day the challenges and opportunitiesof their communities.

Participating in the event were:
- The Secretary of Government, Jorge Jimenez Lona
- The Secretary of Economy, Cristina Villasenor Aguilar
- The Secretary of the New Beginning, Rosario Corona Amador
- The Secretary of Human Rights, Liz Esparza Frausto
- The Director General of the Guanajuato State DIF System, Alfonso Borja Pimentel
- The Director General of the State Training Institute, Salomon Ceballos Ochoa
- The Director General of ISSEG, Judith Juarez Guzman
- The Undersecretary of the Secretary of Security and Peace, Barbara Lugo

Each meeting fostered dialogue and interaction where committee members shared experiences, proposed ways to improve their surroundings, and discussed issues of interest to their neighborhoods and communities. The commitment of the women and men who actively participate in building better conditions for their families and neighbors was also recognized.

The tours allowed visits to the committees “Las Chulas”, “Heroes of the Worker”, “Independence”, “La Bella Chapala”, “Las Chicas de las Torres”, “Arboledas”, “Del Barrio”, “Unidad Deportiva I”, “Del Caudete” and “Nuevo Puerta Dorada”, strengthening direct communication between State agencies and the people who make up these spaces of citizen participation.

With these actions, the People’s Government reaffirms that the best solutions come from direct contact with people, listening to their voices and working in a coordinated manner to address their needs and strengthen community development.
Governor Libia Dennise has asked her Officials to be close to the people, listening to them, and walking alongside them to build solutions that respond to the real needs of the communities.
