Officials estimate that training activities will benefit 325 people in the municipality

With the purpose of bringing more training opportunities to the population, the State Institute of Training (IECA) and the Municipal Government of Purisima del Rincon signed a collaboration agreement that will allow the promotion of training programs oriented towards employment, self-employment and the strengthening of the productive capabilities of the inhabitants.
The alliance will allow for the coordination of efforts to provide courses and training programs that contribute to the development of knowledge, skills, and competencies in accordance with the current needs of the labor market and the productive sectors of the municipality.
The general director of IECA, Salomón Ceballos Ochoa, highlighted the importance of generating learning opportunities that allow people to improve their quality of life and access new development opportunities.
“A model is being implemented where not only training is provided, but also an entrepreneurship model. This is the first municipality where this practice is being formally implemented, not only providing tools and production skills, but also fostering entrepreneurship,” said Ceballos Ochoa.
This action is part of the vision of the People’s Government, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, which promotes people-centered public policies to strengthen their development, well-being, and economic growth.
Mayor of Purisima del Rincon, Roberto Garcia Urbano, reaffirmed his commitment to continue working in a coordinated manner to bring more training opportunities to the citizens.
As Roberto Garcia Urbano, mayor of Purisima del Rincon, said: “It helps us to better achieve our objectives. Every time we sign an agreement with IECA, we know there is a lot of hope, not only from the public administration, through economic development, but also from the people who are waiting for us to offer a course,” said Garcia Urbano.
Irene, a beneficiary of IECA’s training programs in Purisima del Rincon, invited residents to come and take advantage of the opportunities offered to improve skills or start a business.
With this agreement, both institutions consolidate a strategic collaboration that will contribute to strengthen local talent, improve employability and generate greater development opportunities for the families of Purisima del Rincon.
