In order to bring useful and secure technological tools to retired and pensioned people, the Social Security Institute of the State of Guanajuato (ISSEG), in coordination with the Institute of Innovation, Science and Entrepreneurship for Competitiveness, continues to develop a digital training program that will visit various municipalities of the State during 2026.

The training sessions began in the municipalities of Leon and Purisima del Rincon, and included a virtual training session on June 4th, which brought together more than 120 people from different regions of Guanajuato.

Over the next few months, the activities will continue in:
- Doctor Mora, San Luis de la Paz, Dolores Hidalgo, Juventino Rosas, Jaral del Progreso, Salamanca, Cortazar, Comonfort, Irapuato, Romita, Apaseo el Alto, Celaya, Acambaro, and Guanajuato City
With these workshops, participants acquire knowledge about the use of mobile devices, internet browsing, online shopping, artificial intelligence and cybersecurity, with a practical approach that allows them to make better use of digital tools in their daily lives.

“Thanks to our collaboration with the Innovation Institute, we are bringing technology and digital knowledge to ISSEG’s most valuable asset: our retirees. These training sessions provide them with the tools to navigate the digital environment with greater security and confidence, stay connected, complete procedures, and take advantage of the opportunities that technology offers in their daily lives,” said ISSEG’s Director General, Judith Juarez Guzman.

One of the priority topics within the training sessions is digital security, so attendees receive guidance on protecting their personal information, identifying potential risks on the internet, preventing electronic fraud, and making responsible use of social media.
ISSEG strengthens its commitment to provide more tools to its retirees, promote continuous learning and encourage their active participation in an increasingly digital society.
