More than 900 merchants of all the State gathered to receive training, business tools, financing options, and networking opportunities

In order to strengthen public markets, street markets and small businesses, Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo inaugurated the “First Congress of People’s Commerce, Economic Growth Guanajuato”.
This congress brought together more than 900 merchants of all the State to provide them with training, business tools, financing options, and networking opportunities that strengthen their competitiveness and contribute to the economic growth of their families and communities.
“This congress gives us the opportunity to be close to the merchants who represent the heart of the economy of Guanajuato. It is a meeting place for them to continue training and develop their full potential,” said the Governor.
“You will be able to learn about the various programs that the People’s Government has for you, that is why I am proud to see you at this First Congress. I have great affection for the commerce of Guanajuato; you have our full support. I am proud to be the Governor of the commerce of Guanajuato,” said Libia Dennise.
The First People’s Commerce Congress has been designed as a comprehensive training and support program, it includes:
- Keynote addresses on leadership, productivity, sales, and personal development; training on point-of-sale terminal operation; guidance on financing through Tu Puedes Guanajuato; and other topics
Besides, the program aims to generate a business vision that allows participants to strengthen their businesses, improve customer service, and adapt to new market challenges. Municipal and State Authorities and Officials were at the event with the Governor.
