State Forces show their strength at Leon Fair

The SSPEG participates in the León 2024 Fair with a stand dedicated to the State Public Security Forces

The State Public Security Secretary participates in the Leon 2024 State Fair with a stand dedicated to the work carried out by the State Public Security Forces, where the Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo was received.

At the stand various patrols with which the FSPE operate within the territory of Guanajuato were presented. This presentation included a state-of-the-art Chevrolet Tahoe Police patrol car, with technical specifications that are unique for the performance of police operations in the city and highway.

Also, the Chevrolet Camaro patrol car was presented, which due to its sporty design has its own characteristics for social proximity tasks, which are carried out by the State Urban Police Division.

Finally, in this sector the patrol called SandCat was presented, it is known in Spanish as ‘Gato del Desierto’ and is Israeli-made; it is a highly armored vehicle with high tactical mobility for the special operations of the Operational Tactical Group -GTO-. Its design makes it possible to overcome the challenges that tactical officers must face in high-risk missions and in Mexico there are few State Police Corps that have this type of vehicle.

During his visit the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo and the Mayor of Leon, Alejandra Gutierrez Campos went into a tunnel called Immersive Experience, where various videos are presented.

It is a tunnel of screens where digital interaction is possible and people can experience the overflights of helicopters equipped with cutting-edge technology for video surveillance. In this experience they also learned about the work of the K9 Canine Unit with canine officers specially trained in the United States to combat drug and firearms trafficking.

As part of the tour, the Governor of Guanajuato and some of his staff also learned about the information modules of the FSPE, the Institute for State Public Security Training -INFOSPE-, the State Penitentiary System and the General Directorate of Social Reintegration for Adolescents, where the requirements for permanent calls to join these police forces through the Academy are provided.

Finally, the officials visited the cabins where they saw the uniforms of some of the FSPE Divisions and of an INFOSPE cadet, where they were also informed of some of their characteristics, such as the QR code with encrypted information and exclusive reading only for the SSPEG.
