By the year 2023, the Guanajuato Funds’ own programs will continue with a reduction in interest rates and an increase in financing amounts, said the General Director of the financial organization, Juan Antonio Guzman Acosta to industrialists members of CANACINTRA in Celaya.
Guzman Acosta stated that the changes in the amounts and interest rates of the traditional programs have been made since 2021.
“For example, our Major Credit program was of up to one and a half million pesos in 2021, this year it is already 2 and a half million; and next year we will go to 3 million pesos”, said Guzman.
“In other words, we are increasing amounts, we are lowering interest rates and we are simplifying the acceptance of projects as much as possible”, said the Director.
He also pointed out that currently businessmen who have problems with the Credit Bureau are left out of receiving financial services from banking institutions.
“We at Fondos Guanajuato accept up to MOP 3, which gives us the possibility that we can finance them”, said Guzman.
Although the changes are constant, he recognized that more financiing programs are still needed and work is being done on it.
This year, informed Guzman, two programs were published:
- Sustainable Guanajuato
- Contigo Sí, Más Agua para Guanajuato
The latter program was presented in coordination with the State Water Commission –CEAG- on December 5th.
“Contigo Sí, Más Agua para Guanajuato” is aimed at the acquisition of water-saving systems, such as sinks, faucets or WC, the amount ranges from 10,000 to 250,000 pesos.
The General Director of Fondos Guanajuato presented the different financial programs to businessmen affiliated with CANACINTRA Celaya, chaired by Miguel Angel Melo Reyes.
