Guanajuato is a leader in quality in medical care and patient safety with an active mystique and policy, for this reason it will reinforce a permanent training program for health professionals.
Dr. Daniel Diaz Martinez, head of the Gto Health System as he chaired a virtual meeting with the areas involved in this project, informed that for this 2023, the Gto Health System reports the implementation of a permanent training program that serves as a systematic model and constant in terms of quality and patient safety, including surgical safety in the medical units of the 46 municipalities.
The management personnel of the Gto Health System for this 2023 will join the surgical quality and safety course, which will be reinforced with the state strategy that has been implemented since the beginning of the present State Administration with the guiding axis of the State Quality Coordination.
Guanajuato is a national leader in training undergraduate and postgraduate students in teaching hospitals such as the General of Leon.
In addition, the General Hospital of Leon was a pioneer in the implementation of the figure of Quality Residence.
In terms of Education, Dr. Efrain Navarro Olivos, director of said area, pointed out that there are 3 platforms in which new personnel has been trained in medical units with a total of more than 5,000 trained in safety and quality issues, as well as in rights of patient.
