The Governor presents certificates and micro-credentials to people who transformed their lives through IECA

The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, led the regional delivery of the support “Creemos en Ti” to beneficiaries in Leon, San Francisco, Purisima del Rincon, and Manuel Doblado.
This is a non-refundable financial support of 7,000 pesos for people who start a business and who previously received training through the “Initial Entrepreneur Workshop”.
“I am very excited to deliver these support programs, to see the great diversity of entrepreneurship in Guanajuato, to be able to meet the hardest-working people in our State, the people who decided to take a step forward for their families to offer their entrepreneurial ventures,” said the Governor of the People.
The grants delivered total 1 million 778 thousand pesos:
- 84 grants in Leon
- 77 in San Francisco del Rincon
- 25 in Purisima del Rincon
- 68 in Manuel Doblado
These support programs are aimed at rural entrepreneurs, women aged 18 to 59, and young people aged 18 to 30, with the purpose of strengthening regional economic development and generating new growth opportunities for families.
Each support is a concrete opportunity for more entrepreneurial people to turn an idea into income, effort into stability, and talent into well-being, said Ivon Padilla, Director of Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato.
“Today we are not only giving you a certificate, a diploma or a document; we are actually celebrating life stories, stories of people who decided to take a step forward,” said Libia Dennise, during the delivery of certificates and micro-credentials to people trained at the State Institute of Training (IECA).
“In the People’s Government, we deeply believe in the talent of our people. When a woman or a man prepares himself and succeeds, he also inspires others to believe that it is possible,” said Governor Libia Dennise.
“Many companies that come to Guanajuato tell us that one of the determining factors for investing here is having this State training institute, because they know that we will team up to train those who will work in those companies,” said Libia.
10 official certificates were symbolically presented to people who completed training and skills development programs for work.
The promotion of micro-credentials was highlighted, an innovative strategy of the People’s Government that allows for the recognition of specific knowledge and skills through agile certifications aligned with the current needs of the labor market.
The general director of IECA, Salomon Ceballos Ochoa, said that behind each certificate there is a story of effort and transformation.
“Training transforms the way people see themselves, because when someone learns they regain confidence and when they regain confidence they begin to imagine a different future,” said Ceballos Ochoa.
The Governor reiterated that the People’s Government will continue to promote talent, entrepreneurship, and opportunities for Guanajuatense families through training programs, access to credit, and strategies such as Marca Guanajuato.
“What we want is for every program of this government to reach every corner of Guanajuato. Today they may have started with a course, and tomorrow they will be exporting products made with the talent and quality of our people,” the State Governor said.
