Guanajuato has attracted investments for 21 thousand million dollars in the last 13 years

In the last 13 years 21 thousand million dollars have come to Guanajuato; that amount represents 170 thousand jobs, said Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, the Governor of Guanajuato.
“We have gathered more than 2 thousand companies from 23 coutries related to the automobile sector and they are suppliers that operate around General Motors, Mazda, Honda and Toyota”, said the Governor.
In the Solemn Session called by the Congress of the State in an extraordinary sesión, to reaffirm the friendship with the Chamber of Representatives of the State of Arizona, USA; the Governor insisted that “Guanajuato has the biggest and most dynamic auto-industry cluster in Latin America”.
Today Guanajuato and Arizona confirm their friendship and they exchange experiences among the legislative institutions to benefit the social development, culture and democracy in both states, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
A mutual benefit
“It has been many years since Arizona and Guanajuato hold a relationship of friendship and collaboration, with mutual visits of authorities and entrepreneurs. Today is the right momento to thank our friends who are representatives of Arizona, for all their kindness and attentions”, said the Governor.
The exchange of experiences will unite even more both states and it will benefit Americans who live in Guanajuato and guanajuatenses who live in Arizona, said the Governor.
Rodriguez Vallejo expressed a warm welcome to Rusty Bowers and Tony Rivero. “Be welcome to Guanajuato, this is your home”, he said.
The engine of the economy
“Arizona and Guanajuato are very much alike. Here we are also an engine of the national economy, we are the sixth economy of Mexico. We are, just like you, an industrial power, and we are going full steam into the Industry 4.0”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor said that Guanajuato is part of the Center Bajio West Alliance, which is the most dynamic área in Mexico and which is on its way to become the most powerful economic region in Mexico and Latin America.
Business and trade
“It is five States, Aguascalientes, Jalisco, San Luis Potosi and Queretaro, a region that creates new opportunities of business and of trade exchange”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
The President of the House of Representatives of Arizona, Rusell W. Bowers thanked the hospitality of the representatives in Guanajuato and also the Governor, to whom he recognized his human sense and his drive to strengthen the friendship among both states.
“Today we made a historical visit in order to work together for the benefit of Arizona and Guanajuato”, said Rusell W. Bowers who noted the opening of the Commerce Office of Arizona in Guanajuato Puerto Interior.
