The People’s Government collaborates with companies, associations, citizens, and authorities at all three levels of government to provide peace, certainty, and joy to the Leones families”, said the Secretary of Government, Jorge Daniel Jimenez Lona.

The Secretary was representing the Governor of the People Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, during the start of the “9th Services Fair” and “Back to School Fair 2026”, which is being held at the CANACO facilities during August 14, 15 and 16.

“It is a pleasure to share this morning with you in the start of the Services Fair and the Back to School Fair, two great events that will benefit thousands of families, sharing space in the facilities of the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism of Leon,” said the State official, with the President of CANACO Servytur, Juan Carlos Moreno Rodriguez.
Jimenez Lona acknowledged CANACO, the companies, organizations, and associations whose members joined forces to make these two simultaneous fairs possible, saying, “Congratulations, because through your participation you open a great opportunity for families in Leon; we know that the last few days before the start of classes are the most stressful for parents, they represent excitement, new challenges, and opportunities, but the new school year becomes an economic and logistical challenge.”

Jimenez explained that families will have an invaluable opportunity at the CANACO facilities, a space where they can find, in one place, everything that children and young students need to return to school.
The Secretary of Government noted that both fairs represent a meeting place to connect families, who seek quality, variety and good prices; with the merchants and service providers who generate employment, drive the economy and keep the activity of the cities alive.

The fair features the participation of agencies such as “Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato”, Public Defender’s Office, Undersecretary of Labor and Social Welfare, INFONAVIT, PROFECO, General Direction of Economy, Municipal Direction of Tourism, FONACOT and the Mexican Red Cross, among other.
Attendees will be able to complete multiple procedures and receive advice from more than 50 agencies across all three levels of government, enabling them to navigate administrative processes with confidence and efficiency, knowing exactly what the requirements are and who to contact. Jimenez Lona added, “This combination of services, advice, and direct procedures is a great help to families, and we at the People’s Government are very proud to support this effort.”

The Secretary of Government invited the residents of Leon to visit the CANACO facilities and take advantage of all the options and offers available to them on August 14, 15, and 16.
