Companies granted emblem ‘Peace Ambassador’

Companies acquired knowledge to be agents of change. Staff at companies adopt concrete actions through eight strategic axes

A total of 40 Guanajuato companies received the distinctive Peace Ambassador Company, after having carried out specific actions to improve working conditions and environments that contribute positively to the generation of a culture of sustainable peace.

Peace Embassies aims to promote positive peace in work environments through the implementation of concrete actions in eight strategic axes, to improve the development conditions of company collaborators to promote safe spaces.

The axes contemplate the adoption of positive leadership processes, educational inclusion and human development, mobility, inclusion and knowledge of the conditions of collaborators to analyze and include well-being strategies; formal work and benefits; integration of addiction prevention programs; safety in the work environment and ambassador of peace and listening space.

During a brief ceremony held at the Campus High Specialty Center of the State Training Institute (IECA) León, Ramón Alfaro Gómez, Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development and who was representing Governor Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, commented that in Guanajuato there are good people, honest and hardworking who seeks a better environment to develop.

She spoke out in favor of there being more ambassadors of positive peace and finding mechanisms that give us a better present and a better future, bringing all these tools to collaborators and the business environment.

At the time, the Senator and founder of the Peace Embassy project, Alejandra Reynoso Sánchez, insisted that to build peace it is necessary to go through reconciliation with ourselves and with others, as well as reaching the resolution of conflicts because has lost the ability to dialogue, and finally, achieve reconstruction.

“I am convinced that insecurity is fought, but peace is built, because we can, through our attitudes, behaviors and dialogue, advance the culture of peace, so that new generations can receive peace from us for Guanajuato and for Mexico,” he said.

Reynoso Sánchez recognized the work carried out by the IECA by its General Director, Juan Carlos López Rodríguez and the articulators who worked alongside the companies to achieve the delivery of the gold, silver and bronze badges, since the intention is that each participant acquired knowledge, skills and attitudes to be an agent of change and a promoter of awareness of a culture of peace.

For his part, López Rodríguez pointed out that the IECA joined the efforts to try to walk together towards a positive peace, that peace that we are all looking for and that allows us to create the conditions of trust, respect and harmony between human beings, with each other. himself and with others.

He stressed that together we can work decisively to join the development of peaceful and harmonious actions that lead to respect and tolerance of others, because ultimately peace is everyone’s task.

Businessmen attended the event, including Dimas Corral Apodaca, General Director of Ford Irapuato; Alberto Cordero, General Director of Cargadores Webasto, as well as lay priests who are committed to the search for peace.
