IDEA GTO and CECYTE Guanajuato present entrepreneurship strategy for students

Officials presented the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Gym of the San Luis de la Paz Campus of CECYTE Guanajuato as part of a strategy of IDEA GTO and CECYTE to promote entrepreneurial tools and skills among young people and provide added value to their ideas, already forming part of the Network of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Gyms.
Juan Antonio Reus Montano, General Director of IDEA GTO, spoke to the young people present about the importance of removing their fear of starting a business at this stage of their lives, this way they will be able to, said Reus, make the difference between going out to look for a job and going out to find someone to hire.
“Baccalaureate should not only be a mandatory step as part of education, take advantage of it so that it is a transcendent and future step, shaping your projects”, said Reus.
“This is an inheritance and it is the satisfaction that many of us have to leave something more to our students, because teamwork makes things great, because they are solved with experience”, said Esther Angelica Medina Rivero, Director of CECYTE Guanajuato.
Marcela Morales Mejia, Director of the San Luis de la Paz Campus, recognized and thanked the participation, effort and patience of the teachers who are in charge of the gym and invited the young people to use the space and spark their creativity.
“Thank you for believing in this great project that was made for you, take advantage of it and let it be the beginning of great entrepreneurial projects”, said Morales.
Gustavo Espitia Puebla, Director of the Valle de Santiago Campus of CECYTE Guanajuato spoke about the importance of young people having a space where they can present their ideas, develop them and guide them to the viability of the venture.
“With this Gym we seek to promote and boost the projects that come from you, because many of the things you build and undertake are to improve the economy of our municipality and make better citizens,” said Juan Antonio Torres Ortiz, Councilman of San Luis de La Paz.
Luz Angelica Gallegos Ramirez, a student at the San Luis de la Paz Campus, said that the launching of this space is an opportunity to develop their business ideas but above all it is a window to the world in which they can raise their expectations and be able to achieve them.
“This gym is a great help because now we have a physical space where we have all the tools, equipment, and advice from our teachers that allow us to transform our ideas into projects and tangible results,” said Gallegos Ramirez.
Students of CECYTE presented the pitch of their projects:
- Kapta-2, Nectar Drink based on Blackberry and kiwi, Skin Care and Gourmet-style Blueberry Jam
These projects have already already been discussed in in the Innovation Gym.
This space aims to contribute to the development and materialization of entrepreneurial projects of the young students of CECYTE Guanajuato in San Luis de la Paz and Valle de Santiago, as well as their area of influence.
This will allow them to develop innovative, disruptive and viable projects for their application in their community, strengthening the region’s competitiveness.
This is how the Valley of Mindfacture turns into a trigger field for creativity and promotes entrepreneurship in Guanajuato.
