With the participation of 86 companies, the MiPyME Digital program concluded , a strategy promoted by the Coordinator for the Promotion of Foreign Trade of the State of Guanajuato (COFOCE) to strengthen the digital capabilities of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises and prepare them to compete in an increasingly globalized commerce environment.

Throughout various training sessions, participats learned about tools and strategies focused on improving their digital presence, leveraging new technologies, identifying potential customers, strengthening their business processes, and generating greater growth opportunities within and outside of Mexico.

This effort is part of the vision promoted by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, who, through the People’s Government, promotes actions that bring knowledge, technology and specialized support to Guanajuatense companies, with the purpose of making them more competitive, innovative and prepared to respond to the challenges of the digital economy.

The CEO of COFOCE, Luis Antonio Vargas Zavala, noted that digital transformation has become an indispensable tool for companies to expand their markets and connect with international clients.

“We are very pleased because today we have concluded the Digital MSME program, a program commissioned by our Governor, Libia Denisse Garcia Munoz Ledo, who asked us to bring technology closer to more entrepreneurs in the State. The initiative was created so that business owners can learn about digital tools and market their products in local, regional, and especially international markets,” said Vargas Zavala.

The Official added that COFOCE’s objective is to support companies not only when exporting, but from the early stages of preparation, strengthening their business models, their commercial capacity and the strategic use of technology, as well as supporting women to boost their leadership in the economic sector of Guanajuato.

“Forty scholarships were also awarded to women entrepreneurs, and now comes the most interesting part, the follow-up and support from the Government so that these products can reach new destinations,” said Vargas Zavala.

Digitalization represents a gateway to internationalization, as it allows companies to increase their visibility, get to know their consumers better, strengthen their sales processes and connect with buyers, platforms and value chains without geographical location being a limitation.

The People’s Government reaffirmed its commitment to boost the economic development of Guanajuato through programs that strengthen business capabilities, promote innovation, and contribute to building a more competitive, digital, and globally connected ecosystem for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises.
