The Japanese company inaugurates its Plant II in Apaseo el Grande, generating 135 new Jobs

VUTEQ, a Japanese company, reaffirms its trust in Guanajuato with the inauguration of its Plant II in Apaseo el Grande, a project that represents an investment of 100 million dollars and the generation of 135 new jobs.
The new plant strengthens VUTEQ’s presence in Guanajuato and the automotive industry’s supply chain, with an operation that boasts the world’s largest plastic injection plant of its kind for the automotive industry, reflecting the productive and technological capacity that the State has developed.
On behalf of the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, the Undersecretary of Investment Attraction of the Secretary of Economy, Alejandro Hernandez Fonseca, highlighted that VUTEQ’s decision to reinvest and grow in Guanajuato represents a show of trust in the State and in the conditions it offers for the development of new projects.
“Every time a company already in Guanajuato decides to reinvest and grow, we see it as an expression of confidence that we must acknowledge and reciprocate. VUTEQ is an example of how a company can find the conditions here to develop increasingly specialized projects, incorporate technology, and generate new opportunities for our people,” said Alejandro Hernandez.
With this new investment, the People’s Government reaches 80 investment projects, with more than 6.55 billion dollars and 20,686 jobs committed during the current administration, which represents an advance of 81.88% of the six-year goal of attracting investments, established at 8 billion dollars.
The arrival and expansion of companies like VUTEQ are part of the Guanajuato SUMA vision, the new economic policy promoted by Governor Libia Dennise, which sets a medium and long-term vision towards 2050.
VUTEQ’s continued presence and growth in Guanajuato reflects a company that came to the State, developed its capabilities, and is now reinvesting to expand its operations, strengthen its presence in the automotive industry, and create new jobs.
For the People’s Government, every new project and every reinvestment represents an opportunity to continue strengthening the State’s economic ecosystem.
