The true engine of Guanajuato’s economy is measured by the courage of those who decide to open their own business every day.
Ivon Padilla Hernandez, General Director of Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato, during the delivery of the “Creemos en ti” program in the municipalities of Silao and Romita, said that Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo is convinced that with this strategy, the lives of people, families, or communities seeking to grow can be changed.
More than 170 entrepreneurs from Silao and Romita received the non-refundable financial support of 7 thousand pesos “We Believe in You”, aimed at starting or growing the small business of each of the participants in the program.
“Being here with you is to be covered by an energy that knows no bounds. This land is not only fertile because of its fields; it is fertile because of the ideas of its people, because of the hardworking hands that build it up and because of the minds that, no matter the size of the challenge, always find a way to move forward,” said Padilla Hernandez.
The head of the financial institution said that this program provides a non-refundable grant of seven thousand pesos to graduates of the Initial Entrepreneurship Workshop who have developed a viable business model. More than traditional aid, this support represents the spark that ignites local commerce in neighborhoods, rural communities, or urban areas with priority needs.
Padilla acknowledged the boldness of those who decide to break with uncertainty to bet on their own abilities.
“The vision we share in the People’s Government has become a springboard. That’s why we designed real, direct support without intermediaries. The 7,000 pesos in economic support that you are receiving today is, above all, a pact of mutual trust,” said Ivon.
Padilla Hernandez asked local entrepreneurs to maintain accounting and operational discipline, urging them to see this initial support as the foundation of a long and successful business career that will open new opportunities for their growth and expansion.
The financial institution and support program “Tu Puedes Guanajuato” reaffirms its mission to strengthen the local economy from the ground up. By the end of 2026, the “Creemos en Ti” program aims to provide four thousand new support grants throughout the State, becoming a true ally to the people of Guanajuato.
