The main dams in the State of Guanajuato have an average storage percentage of 81.1 percent
According to the hydrometeorological report of September 8 by the Secretary of Water and Environment (SAMA), the main dams in the State have an average storage percentage of 81.1 percent, registering 1,455.4 million cubic meters.
Among the main bodies of water that are monitored in terms of storage level are:
- Tepuxtepec Dam, Solis Dam, Yuriria Lagoon, Ignacio Allende Dam, La Purisima, El Palote, La Soledad, La Esperanza, Mata, and El Realito
Besides, the average rainfall during the month of September has been 52.6 millimeters or liters per square meter, while the accumulated rainfall for the entire year 2026 to date has been 482.1 millimeters.
