The 4th edition of BJX Aerospace Summit was inaugurated, one of the most relevant events for the aerospace industry in Guanajuato.
With the participation of leading national and international players in the sector, the event is consolidating its position as a key space for innovation, the exchange of ideas and collaboration in the development of aerospace technologies.
The event was chaired by the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, representing the Governor of Guanajuato, Libia Denisse Garcia Munoz Ledo; in her message Villasenor noted the growth and relevance that the aerospace industry has earned in the region.
“The BJX Aerospace Summit 4.0 is more than a discussion forum, it is a driving force for transformation for Guanajuato and the country. Through collaboration between companies, academia and government, we are strengthening Guanajuato’s competitiveness in this strategic sector”, said the governor in a message for the event.
“It is very important for us to be here today. This summit reflects the efforts of the entrepreneurs in the aerospace sector, who have reinvented themselves to go into this industry. Without a doubt, it is a sector that will experience significant growth in the coming years, and our goal is to position it internationally”, said Luis Ernesto Rojas Avila, General Director of COFOCE, as he noted the importance of the event for the positioning of the sector.
The Bajio Aerospace Cluster aims to contribute to the development of the aeronautical and aerospace sector in Guanajuato, through initiatives focused on integration into the supply chain, talent development, promotion of the capabilities of Guanajuato and internal strengthening of the cluster.
Currently, the Guanajuato cluster is the fourth most important in Mexico (Bajío Aerospace Cluster data) and continues to work to facilitate the incorporation of local suppliers into the sector, foster interest in the aerospace industry among students and attract key investments.
“This sector diversifies the economy of our State and has a high potential for growth and development, with nearly 10 companies established here”, said Secretary Villasenor Aguilar.
