Young members of YouthGTO, a youth network of the Youth Institute, participated in the event “La Octava Noche 2024” in Uriangato; this tradition takes place every year and has gained international recognition.
This tradition began in 1966, when the streets of the municipality are filled with colors due to artistic expressions, through sawdust carpets; attendees walk more than 5 kilometers of avenues to admire the works made by artists.
YouthGTO is a network that stands out for its commitment to organizing various activities in the 46 municipalities of the state, including humanitarian aid projects.
On this occasion, they joined the traditional event by making a mat that reflects the values and mission that the network has with the young people of Guanajuato, always seeking their well-being.

The organism informed that through various initiatives and programs, we seek to foster creativity, innovation and artistic talent in the new generations, providing them with the necessary opportunities to express themselves, develop and contribute to the cultural enrichment of the entity.
