The Entrepreneur’s Initial Workshop, part of the “We Believe in You” program, brought together people determined to learn how to start and strengthen their businesses

Entrepreneurship can also mean learning. With this conviction, 60 entrepreneurs from San Jose de Iturbide participated in the Initial Entrepreneur Workshop offered by Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato, to acquire the knowledge and skills to successfully start and maintain their small businesses.
Ivon Padilla Hernandez, head of the agency, said that, in this New Beginning for the people of Guanajuato, results are indeed coming and the Initial Entrepreneur Workshop is the first of many results of the public policies that have been designed to achieve it.
“Sometimes the biggest obstacle is not a machine, a location, or a quantity of money; it’s not knowing where to start. Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo has told us that if a person leaves this workshop with a more organized idea and knowing what their next step in their project can be, then they have already taken something they can apply starting today: Knowledge,” said Ivon.
“Here we’re not just talking about business, but about people who want to build and work towards a better future for their families; about young people who want to show what they are capable of; and about women who every day manage to support their families and their projects. Each of these stories deserve an opportunity to continue being written, and with us, they can achieve that,” said the Official.
Padilla Hernandez pointed out that the People’s Government seeks to ensure that more people find the necessary tools without waiting for their businesses to grow large to receive the comprehensive support offered by the agency under her charge.
“We want people to know that they can approach us when they are just starting to build their project. They don’t have to come with a perfect business; they can come with an idea, a demonstrable skill, or a small venture; and that’s what this space is for: to strengthen it.”
Ivon said that training is an essential requirement to be able to apply for the non-refundable support of 7,000 pesos primarily aimed at women aged 18 to 59 and men aged 18 to 30.
