To contribute to the economic development of the state, with inclusion and equity, the head of the Financing and Support Agency “Tú Puede Guanajuato” met with leaders of merchants and street vendors in León to offer them the nine loans.
Ivon Padilla Hernández, head of the agency, said that this sector is a key piece for the government of the People and that she knows how important they are for generating income and sources of employment that help improve the quality of life of more people from Guanajuato.
“Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo has been with you, it is a sector that she loves very much and that she wants to continue growing, that is why she created this financial institution. According to the needs of each person, they approached her and told her how complicated it is to get financing, either because of the requirements or because sometimes one does not have a credit history or because the interest rates on financing are very high and with vision, the financial institution was created considering inclusion and with a social focus where everyone fits in,” said Padilla Hernández.
In particular Padilla told them that the “Estamos Contigo” financing has a maximum amount of up to 100 thousand pesos, with a payment term of 78 weeks and an interest rate of 6.75 percent on outstanding balances, designed for merchants who need working capital. And if they pay on time, they can receive a renewal of the credit with an interest rate of 7.75 percent.
During her participation, Griselda Velázquez, Director of Commerce and Supply of the Ministry of Economy, told the leaders present that this alliance with “Tú Puede Guanajuato” will strengthen the growth of Guanajuato.
“Let’s promote local commerce together, strengthening our economy and community,” invited Padilla.
Staff from the León regional branch, which covers the municipalities of: San Francisco del Rincón, Purisima del Rincon and Manuel Doblado, set up a module to closely address merchants’ questions about financing.
