The President announces a bonus of 10 thousand pesos for each of the elements of the FSPE

“We are going to close with a bang regarding security, to give more tranquility and social peace to Guanajuatenses”, said Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo as he led the ceremony for the 191st Anniversary of the State Public Security Forces.
“I am very proud of what the State Public Security Forces represent for the people of Guanajuato. For this reason, during this six-year term we have invested 37 billion pesos in the Secretary of Security,” noted Rodriguez Vallejo.
The Governor recognized the women and men who make up this institution, because with their vocation for service they support and assist Guanajuato society, in addition to fighting crime.
“We have transformed the FSPE, we are the second most reliable state police in Mexico, after Yucatán,” he highlighted.
“Today I want to thank you all, because you have made it possible, together with the support of the Mexican Army, the municipal police, and the State Prosecutor’s Office and federal agencies, for Guanajuato to be safer than we found it at the beginning of this six-year term,” said the Governor.
And he added, “we are going for more security personnel, at the end of this Administration the goal is to reach 6 thousand elements”.
The Governor announced that in the northern part of the State, between the municipalities of Ocampo and San Felipe, a Rural Police Barracks will be built, where it is estimated to invest more than 130 million pesos.
Rodriguez Vallejo insisted that “I ask you to greatly close this six-year term, let us continue defending the citizens,” said the Governor who urged the staff not to commit any acts of corruption.
He announced that he is going to grant a bonus of 10 thousand pesos to the 5,500 elements, before the end of next March they will receive it. “They deserve it because the results are there.”
Rodriguez Vallejo also recognized the work of the State Secretary of Public Security, Alvar Cabeza de Vaca Appendini, who together with his work team has made this Security Secretary the best in Mexico in five and a half years.
Recognitions were given for the perseverance of 137 elements who have between 5 and 10 years of service. Recognition was also given to 85 elements who had outstanding actions in the line of duty.
The K9 canine unit had a special recognition for its outstanding work.
