The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, led the State delivery of Microcredentials, digital certifications that validate specific competencies focused on skills that allow a person to work better in a team, make decisions, adapt to change or lead processes.

“In the People’s Government, we understand that economic development must go hand in hand with human and inclusive development, which is why today we can proudly say that Guanajuato is a national pioneer in the implementation of this Microcredentials program,” said Governor Libia Dennise.

This model makes it easier for more people to accredit their skills in an agile, valid and relevant way, strengthening their employability, which allows progress in consolidating Guanajuato as a national benchmark in talent development.
In this first state-level delivery of Microcredentials, the effort of 860 individuals was recognized, 447 women and 413 men, who participated in training processes linked to their work environments.

Ninety companies from different productive sectors participated, demonstrating that in Guanajuato there is a solid alliance of Government, private initiative and education institutions to promote local talent.
This is a coordinated effort of the Secretary of Economy, the education sector, and the productive sector. This program is being promoted with the support of the Virtual University of the State of Guanajuato (UVEG), as an accredited institution for issuing these certifications.

This joint effort allows training to respond to real needs, generating benefits for organizations and incorporating the use of innovative technology.
Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo announced the mass distribution of digital microcredentials to those who obtained their certification and received them instantly on their devices.

The micro-credentials awarded cover skills such as:
- Leadership and coaching; resilience and emotional management; decision-making; self-management, collaborative capacity; openness to change and orientation towards self-development
