The State Institute of Training (IECA) launched the call for participation in “Moda In, Episode III”, an initiative that promotes creative talent through training, support and real experiences within the fashion industry.

The program is aimed at students, graduates, designers and people interested in strengthening their skills, improving their production processes and consolidating their projects, through specialized training and advice.

“Guanajuato has talent, creativity, and identity. With Moda In, we want to strengthen that talent through training and turn it into a real opportunity for growth for the State’s designers,” said Salomon Ceballos Ochoa, general director of IECA.
This initiative is part of the vision of the People’s Government, led by Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, which promotes talent development as an engine of opportunity.

- Visual portfolio: high-quality photography and video of a garment of your own design, including a brief justification of the design and details of the manufacturing process
- Academic accreditation (optional): certificate, diploma or professional degree
- CV or profile: brief career report with links to professional social networks

Program stages:
- Training: 40-hour hybrid training in Brand Development, Trends, Pattern Making, E-commerce and Costs. Includes certificate with official validity from IECA
- Development: Creation of an outfit with local suppliers and expert advice
- Selection: Evaluation in face-to-face casting by a specialized jury

Key dates:
- Registration of applicants: from March 23 to May 10
- Notification of selected candidates: May 18-24
- Training begins: June 1st
- Selection process (casting): from July 10 to 17
- Final presentation: November 2026

- Equipment: basic workshop with 4 DIMACO brand sewing machines
- Production: Use of specialized IECA equipment and free materials
