More than 9,200 companies from the 46 municipalities in the State already have the Marca Guanajuato emblem, as part of the People’s Government strategy to strengthen MSMEs

The productive wealth of Guanajuato is present at the 11th International Meeting of Carpet Makers, where 42 Marca Guanajuato companies from nine municipalities are participating with products of the agro-food, crafts, leather-footwear, developing industries and textile sectors, bring to this meeting a sample of the diversity and quality of what is produced in the State.

This participation reflects the vision of the People’s Governor, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, that economic development should reach all municipalities and translate into more spaces for local businesses to grow, promote their products, and find new markets.

The participating companies come from:
- Celaya, Irapuato, Leon, Moroleon, Salamanca, Salvatierra, San Francisco del Rincon, Tarandacuao and Uriangato
The Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, highlighted that each participating company represents a story, a product, and a way of doing things from Guanajuato, so these spaces allow them to expand the promotion of their products and bring them closer to new audiences and markets.

“This government’s decisions have only one compass: the people,” Villasenor Aguilar pointed out, emphasizing that supporting MSMEs, artisans, merchants, and entrepreneurs also means bringing them closer to new spaces to market and publicize what they do.

Currently, more than 9,200 companies from the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato have the Marca Guanajuato emblem, a strategy that recognizes the quality of products and services made in the State and strengthens their identity to facilitate their promotion within and outside of Guanajuato.
For the People’s Government, this link between culture, tourism and productive activity is part of the Guanajuato Suma vision, the new State economic policy that seeks to strengthen the productive vocation of each region and consolidate MSMEs as a fundamental part of economic growth.


With these actions, the People’s Government strengthens the local economy and opens more spaces for Guanajuatense companies to turn their talent, creativity and quality into new opportunities for growth and marketing, making what is produced in Guanajuato reach further and further.
