According to the hydrometeorological report of the Secretary of Water and Environment (SAMA), the main dams in Guanajuato are at an average storage of 75.9 percent, registering 1,337.3 million cubic meters.
Among the main bodies of water that are monitored in terms of storage level are:
- Tepuxtepec Dam, Solis Dam, Yuriria Lagoon, Ignacio Allende Dam, La Purisima Dam, El Palote, La Soledad, La Esperanza, Mata, and El Realito
The average rainfall during the month of July has been 25.9 millimeters or liters per square meter, while the accumulated rainfall for the entire year 2026 to date has been 294.3 millimeters.
Meanwhile the minimum temperature recorded on Tuesday in Guanajuato was 11°C in Coroneo and the maximum was 32.1°C in Guanajuato City.
