The delivery of deeds is part of a permanent policy promoted by the People’s Government to guarantee the right of people to have a secure asset

Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo delivered deeds as part of the “Papelito Habla” program in Romita, to provide legal certainty to beneficiary families and strengthen their assets through the regularization of land tenure.
“There are so many beautiful stories behind this program, and that’s where the work of this government, listening to the people and working for them, makes sense. We look for ways to make it happen, and we look for moments like this, where we are handing you this piece of paper that I know means more than just a deed,” said the State Governor.
On this occasion, 133 public property deeds were delivered, directly benefiting 465 people in this municipality, as a result of the State Program for the Regularization of Human Settlements.
This event was attended by Pedro Tanamachi Reyes, Mayor of Romita; and Jorge Jimenez Lona, Secretary of Government, who recognized the effort of the families of the settlements Los Arcos, Ampliacion Las Palmas and Bosques de San Rafael II, who now have a legal document that supports their property and allows them to fully exercise their rights over their home.
This effort is one of the most important actions to improve people’s quality of life, because a deed not only proves ownership of a property, but also offers peace of mind, security, and new opportunities for families.
