The People’s Government strengthens comprehensive care for Guanajuatense migrants with the delivery of 61 productive and economic support packages through the strategy “Migrant I Love You”

The Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, led the fourth delivery of the Assisted Return Plan “Migrant I Love You”, as a comprehensive strategy to assist those who return to Guanajuato after facing deportation or return processes from the United States.
“This Government of Guanajuato is a Government that not only believes in its migrants, but is also here to support them. This is the fourth delivery of support we are making so that now that you arrive in Guanajuato, you can get your businesses up and running,” said Libia Dennise.
Sixty-one grants were awarded, of which 43 correspond to productive projects and 18 to direct economic support, with a total investment of 1 million 294 thousand pesos, through the programs “Migrants Building Communities” and “Attention to Migrants and their Families”.
The “Migrant I Love You” strategy constitutes a comprehensive and humanistic response to ensure that migrants have institutional support, as part of the commitment of the People’s Government to the people of Guanajuato in the context of mobility, through the Secretary of Human Rights.
Through productive projects, beneficiaries can start or strengthen economic activities that allow them to generate income and rebuild their lives in Guanajuato. The financial support helps address immediate needs arising from the return process.
