With an investment of 1,563 million dollars and the generation of 9,954 new jobs, 20 projects have been completed for the municipality of Irapuato during the present administration state.
The State Government headed by Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo works in a coordinated manner with the municipal governments for the development and economic growth of Guanajuato that open new work opportunities.
The head of the Secretary of Sustainable Economic Development -SDES-, Ramon Alfaro Gomez noted the importance of continuing to attract national and foreign capital, as well as making it easy for already established companies to expand and extend their operations and headquarters.
Alfaro added that with the consolidation of these projects, the economic activities of the automotive-auto parts, plastic, mining, personal care, textile-clothing sectors are diversified and complemented.
Among the companies that have established and/or expanded their operations in Irapuato are:
- Aztema, Ford, Webasto, Procter & Gamble, Walor, Evercast, Metso Outotec, Suminoe Textil, among other
The competitive advantages of this municipality allowed the arrival of these investments from countries like:
- United States, Germany, Japan, France, Finland, China, etc.
The Government of Guanajuato, through SDES, reaffirms the commitment to generate strategies that allow the installation of new capital in the 46 municipalities of Guanajuato, to open job opportunities that contribute to improve the quality of life of Guanajuatenses.
