On the World Water Day effort is done for the efficient use and conservation while initiatives are consolidated to conserve water for the people

The People’s Government, through the Secretary of Water and Environment, works continuously on actions and strategies that contribute to the efficient use and conservation of water.
Therefore, in the World Water Day, whose motto is “Where water flows, equality grows,” the People’s Government is strengthening inclusive projects that will be the guide and the path to achieving water sustainability.
An example of this coordinated and cross-cutting work by people from all municipalities in Guanajuato are the hydraulic works that are carried out so that more families have these services in their homes.
In the northeast of Guanajuato, specifically in the municipality of Tierra Blanca, more than 53 million pesos are being invested jointly with the federal government in hydraulic works and projects for the people of this region.
These works are part of the strategies that the Secretary of the Environment applies under the vision and leadership of the Governor of the People Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo so that more families have water in their homes.
At the same time, water, drainage and sanitation projects have been developed in different municipalities of Guanajuato, which are aimed at improving the quality of life of the people, making efficient use of the vital liquid and advancing in coverage so that the State continues to be recognized in Mexico for its successful strategies in the matter.
In order to promote and foster a culture of water efficiency, actions are being strengthened to consolidate saving, reuse and respect for the water resource through institutional campaigns, training, workshops, courses and conferences so that people become multipliers of change in the care of the vital liquid.
This water and environmental education is carried out in coordination with municipalities in education institutions, communities, neighborhoods, protected natural areas, among other.
In the Government of the People, and as part of the World Water Day, efforts and commitments in favor of water sustainability are strengthened, generating actions and projects aimed at the efficient use and conservation of this vital resource for everyone.
