The Guanajuato 2026 Wine Harvest Season arrived, offering 16 wine tourism experiences this year. These celebrations include the traditional grape stomping, vineyard tours, tastings, gastronomic experiences, cultural shows, and meetings with wine producers.

The People’s Government through the Secretary of Tourism and Identity (SECTURI), is inviting all to experience this cultural and tourist tradition offered through the Guanajuato 2026 Wine Harvest season, a celebration that brings together its 16 wine tourism experiences in the municipalities of: Dolores Hidalgo Cradle of National Independence, San Miguel de Allende, Irapuato and Silao, consolidating the State as one of the main destinations for Mexican wine.

Local, national and international visitors are welcome to experience the Guanajuato 2026 Wine Harvest season, one of the most important celebrations of the State’s wine culture, which will take place from August 1 to October 18.

The treasure of the grape harvest must be experienced and shared, for all that it represents: the culminating moment of the vine’s cycle, when the vineyards open their doors to share the grape harvest with visitors through experiences that combine wine, gastronomy, tradition, culture, music and the beauty of the Guanajuatense landscapes.
“The grape harvests are an opportunity to showcase the quality of our wines, the talent of our producers, and the rich tourism offer of Guanajuato. Each event allows visitors to discover unique experiences that boost economic development and strengthen the identity of our regions,” said the Secretary of Tourism and Identity, Lupita Robles Leon.

Currently, Guanajuato remains one of the leading wine-producing states in Mexico:
- Ranks fourth nationally in wine production
- With 82 wine-growing projects
- 27 of which offer wine tourism experiences
Guanajuato has a solid wine tourism offer that includes:
- Vineyards, wineries, wine routes and specialized experiences that attract thousands of visitors each year

Those interested can consult the full program of activities and plan their visit through the official channels of the Secretary of Tourism and Identity and the Guanajuato tourism platform.
