“We have the best state health system because we invest in our personnel, in more clinics and hospitals, in treatments and medicines so that no one is left without care,” said the Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodríguez Vallejo, at the launch of the new GTO Health System.
The Governor confirmed his commitment with Guanajuato families to provide better health care to those without social security.
Health attention in Guanajuato:
- Anual investment for 14.3 billion pesos
- 8 billion by the Federal Government
- 6,300 billion by the State of Guanajuato
- 679 million pesos invested in medical equipment
- 3.7 million Guanajuatenses are served
- 10 million medical attentions per year
- All patients receive their medicines free of charge
“Here in Guanajuato they are provided with quality and warm medical attention, because we have the best health professionals, we support them with the best equipment and we continue to build more infrastructure”, said the Governor.

- The completion of the new General Hospital of Leon
- CAISES Irapuato
- Remodeling of the General Hospitals of Irapuato and Guanajuato
- UMAPS of Apaseo El Alto and Cortazar
- CAISES of Apaseo El Grande, Irapuato and Jerecuaro.
- Extension and remodeling of the Mother and Children’s Hospital in Leon
- Project of the Tomography area of the Pediatric Hospital
- UMAPS and CAISES in Leon, Silao and Villagran
- Health Center in Tarimoro
- UMAPS in Salamanca and Valle de Santiago
- CESSA in Victoria
- UMAPS in Irapuato and Atarjea
