Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo attended the 45th anniversary celebration of the Celaya Business Coordinating Council.
“It’s a pleasure to be here at this very significant celebration. We’ve come to celebrate a history built over 45 years by women and men who decided to organize, unite, and work for something bigger than their own businesses: the development of Celaya,” said the Governor.
Libia Dennise also congratulated the 24 former presidents of this institution who were recognized today for their career achievements, as well as the companies that have been awarded the “Celaya Motor del Bajio” distinction.
The Business Coordinating Council is a solid institution and a permanent ally of the growth, competitiveness and well-being of this region, said Libia.
“Today I want to recognize the business owners of Celaya and the entire Laja-Bajio region because you have been protagonists in the transformation of Guanajuato, which is currently the fifth most important economy in Mexico,” the Governor emphasized.
This 45th anniversary represents a milestone. But it also represents a platform for conquering the future. I invite you to continue investing in innovation, in the talent of our people, in Celaya and in Guanajuato, Libia Dennise emphasized.
The president of the Celaya Business Coordinating Council (CCE), Jorge Luis Gamez Campos, acknowledged the support he has received from the State Government to strengthen this business organization, as well as the actions that have been promoted jointly for the benefit of the economic and social development of the Laja-Bajio Region.
The ceremony was also attended by the mayor of Celaya, Juan Miguel Ramirez Sanchez, as well as the Secretary of Economy, Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, local and federal legislators, members of the City Council, and representatives of business chambers.
