Guanajuato strengthens its economic strategy

The agenda will allow participants to learn about international experiences, build relationships, and identify tools that can strengthen Guanajuato Suma

Guanajuato strengthens its economic vision with an international agenda focused on learning about experiences, generating links and identifying new tools in the areas of competitiveness, foreign trade, innovation and talent development.

As part of this strategy, the Secretary of Economy, Claudia Cristina Villasenor Aguilar, will participate in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP), a professional exchange program administered by the United States Department of State.

During their event, a specialized agenda will be addressed, covering international trade, manufacturing industry, technology, agrobusiness, logistics, talent development and market access, among other strategic topics for the economic development of Guanajuato.

“We have a very clear objective: to learn what is working in other places and what we can adapt for Guanajuato. We want to return with ideas, tools, and connections that we can transform into actions and new opportunities for our people,” said Villasenor Aguilar.

Participation is part of the Guanajuato Suma vision, the new economic policy promoted by the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, to strengthen competitiveness, support businesses, promote talent and generate better development conditions for Guanajuatense families.

The IVLP promotes the exchange of knowledge and experiences between professionals from different countries and their US counterparts, as well as facilitating the building of professional relationships and future opportunities for collaboration.

“Our Governor Libia Dennise’s vision is clear: Guanajuato must look to the world, strengthen what we do well, and learn from the best practices. The important thing about this participation will be what we can bring back and turn into results for our State,” the Secretary emphasized.

At the conclusion of the program, the Secretary of Economy will analyze the experiences and models identified to determine which ones can be incorporated or contribute to State strategies for foreign trade, competitiveness, talent development and support for companies.
