Instructors of INFOSPE participated in a course trip to learn about Tactical Unit Management

The State Institute for Public Security Training (INFOSPE) was one of those selected to participate in the Exchange Program on Security and Law Enforcement (LESEP), for the second time this year.
The People’s Government, through the Secretary of Security and Peace, promoted this action, which was carried out through the Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) of the U.S. Embassy in Mexico.
The Study Trip, Best Practices for the Administration and Management of Tactical Units, took place in Miami, Florida. Participants visited the Miami-Dade Public Safety Training Institute and the FBI’s Miami Field Office.
The two instructors from Guanajuato had direct contact and access to police professionals and experts from the United States in the areas of selection, profiling, training and organization of tactical units.
INFOSPE is responsible for the training, professional development, and certification of public servants in the area of public security at the state and municipal levels. It also strengthens the training of researchers, professors, specialists, and technicians in the various fields of criminal science.
Through international exchanges, INFOSPE strengthens its leadership, operation, efficiency, and best practices in service to the citizens of Guanajuato.
