With the goal of giving more women and young people from rural communities and priority attention zones an opportunity to develop, the People’s Government, through the Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato (Financial and Support Fund “You Can Guanajuato”), reached the municipalities of Romita, Silao, and Guanajuato City with the “We Believe in You” program.

Ivon Padilla Hernandez, head of the agency, said that productive ideas also need those who believe in them to make them a reality with support. That is why Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo has asked that they be given an affordable and secure economic boost.

“You are an example of the culture of hard work that distinguishes Guanajuato. Here we see women and young people who do not give up, who want to get ahead and who are determined to build their own path,” said Ivon.

These workshops are part of the fifth process of 2026 and aim to enable more female entrepreneurs aged 18 to 59 and young entrepreneurs aged 18 to 30, primarily from rural communities and priority urban areas, to access this non-refundable resource of seven thousand pesos to start or boost their business.

“We want to see you very soon at our branches applying for a loan so your business can continue to grow. This workshop is just the beginning of something much bigger. Never stop believing in your dreams, because Financiera de la Gente supports the dreams of entrepreneurs,” said Ivon Padilla Hernandez.

Guillermo de Jesus Alba Valenzuela, a young entrepreneur originally from Guanajuato said that seven years ago he  began to make his way with a beef birria taco business in Villas de Guanajuato.

At 28, Guillermo recalled that it all started thanks to a family recipe and the desire to turn something that was popular among friends and acquaintances into an opportunity for growth. “I made that birria and, honestly, a lot of people liked it. I decided to try and sell it, and they really loved the seasoning; it’s Grandma’s secret,” he said with a smile.

“I know it’s scary and you keep putting things off, but the idea is to start. Once you start, you see the direction you want to go,” said Guillermo.

For Ximena Abril Perez Urrutia from Romita, entrepreneurship meant finding her own path to success and gradually building the future she envisions for herself. She currently combines two activities she is passionate about: in the mornings she works as a trainer at a gym, and in the evenings she runs “Los Hochos del Choco,” her business serving hamburgers, hot dogs, snacks, and Mexican treats.

“I want to succeed on my own and keep growing. I love sports and I also really enjoy my business; you can practically find me in either one,” said Ximena enthusiastically.

“I aspire to have one location, maybe two, and for ‘Los Hochos del Choco’ to go far, to be known in many places,” she said. “Never give up, follow your dreams. It’s never too late to start something, and it’s better to start late than never.”

During the course sessions, participants received training on basic concepts for entrepreneurship: simple administration, customer service, and emotional tools to strengthen trust and decision-making.

At the end of the training sessions, the attendees completed the corresponding procedure to request the “Creemos en Ti” support.

Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato reaffirms its commitment to reach all 46 municipalities of the State again with the “We Believe in You” program.
