The non-refundable economic support of 7 thousand pesos “We Believe in You”, arrived in the municipalities of Abasolo and Huanimaro to make the dream of more Guanajuatenses come true to start and grow a business.
At an event held in Abasolo, 179 women and young people participating in this program of Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato received this resource after having taken the initial entrepreneur workshop as a primary requirement to be able to access the “We Believe in You” program.
The general director of the Financial Institution, Ivon Padilla Hernandez, highlighted the importance of this program.
“The ‘We Believe in You’ support represents much more than a financial resource. It’s the possibility of changing lives. Because it’s non-refundable, women and young entrepreneurs can start or strengthen their projects without the worry of debt,” said Ivon.
“This allows them to focus on what’s most important: generating income, providing stability for their families, and building a more dignified future. Every business that starts with this impetus is a story of overcoming adversity that inspires the entire community,” said Padilla.
The Official pointed out that this is a commitment fulfilled that Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo assumed since before her administration: her vision, to support women and young people in rural areas and in vulnerable conditions so that they can generate, by themselves, better economic conditions for their families.
Among the entrepreneurs who attended the meeting with Financiera y Apoyos Tu Puedes Guanajuato, was Luis Fernando Madrigal, a 28-year-old who recently started his juice sales business in Abasolo.
Visibly moved, he noted that, for him, “We Believe in You” means a great help for his business to move forward, and he thanked the People’s Government for these types of programs that focus on women, young people, and men who want to get ahead with a small productive activity.
“I am a young entrepreneur from Abasolo; this morning I am receiving support to continue developing my business. My juice stand is located in downtown Abasolo; it is a small business, and with this boost we’re going to buy some things we need for the juice bar so we can continue providing better service, and we’re going to keep moving forward. Many thanks to the People’s Government and our Governor Libia Dennise,” said Luis Fernando.
Until now the Financial Institution has supported 3,500 entrepreneurs ready to take the next step, which is equivalent to an investment of more than 24.5 million pesos in 42 of the 46 municipalities.
