Tu Puedes Guanajuato Strengthens citizen trust through the “Knocking on Doors” strategy

Uriangato/Gto News

The “Knocking on Doors” strategy opened space for direct dialogue between citizens and the Government of the People, with the participation of the state financial institution Tu Puedes Guanajuato.

Ivon Padilla Hernandez, head of the agency, said that, more than a tour, it was a request from Governor Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, who asked to return to the municipalities to speak directly with the people of Guanajuato.

In this intervention, Officials brought information and concrete solutions to the doors of the families, promoting not only access to financing, advice, and support for those seeking to start or strengthen their businesses, but also for those in need of Government support.

“We know that many governments make promises and don’t return, but this one is different. Governor Libia Dennise García Muñoz Ledo asked us to come, listen, and resolve,” said Padilla.

“This is a government that listens, that delivers, and that works every day for and with the people. If the people can’t come to the Government, the Government has to come to the people,” said the Official.

Ivon commented that the institutional presence translated into closeness, listening, and timely responses, reinforcing the commitment to work with and for the people of Guanajuato.

The tour took place in several streets of the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood in the municipality of Uriangato, where Ivon Padilla Hernandez and staff of Secretary of New Beginning visited the homes of entrepreneurs and established businesses that might need a financial boost.

For Javier Dominguez Malagon, a resident of that area, this visit was surprising and different when he saw the State Government patrolling the streets and knocking directly on his business doors to offer him services and financing.

He has his small shop selling cleaning products on Campesino Street at the corner of Veracruz Street, which he just started two months ago.

“It’s going little by little, but we hope that with a boost from the Government, we’ll have more sales and more products to offer to buyers,” said Javier.

Petra Garibay Cisneros, a resident of the Emiliano Zapata neighborhood, sells roasted chicken outside her house, which is located on the main avenue of that place. Her seasoning is already known by residents and people who visit her from other parts of the municipality.

“It’s great that they’re paying us a visit here again, to see if they can give us a hand to work, to move ahead, because women simply work harder now,” said Dona Petra.

The “Knocking on Doors” strategy will continue in other municipalities across the State, with the goal of consolidating a friendly, transparent, and helpful administration so that no one is left behind.
