With support for rural families, recreational spaces for children and the young, as well as works to improve mobility and security in communities, the Governor of the People, Libia Dennise Garcia Munoz Ledo, carried out a work tour through the northeast of Guanajuato.

The State Governor delivered support from the My Productive Family and Agriculture of the Future programs, inaugurated the rehabilitation of the Los Dolores Recreational Space, led the start of works on Independencia, 5 de Mayo and Constancia streets.

In San Luis de la Paz, the Governor delivered productive support worth more than 2.7 million pesos, intended to facilitate food, reduce expenses and strengthen the economic activities of rural families.
Through the Mi Familia Productiva program, 1,343 people benefited from the distribution of 111 tons of corn for human consumption, 144 packages of dual-purpose birds, and 89 nixtamal mills. In addition, the Agricultura del Futuro program supported 150 production units with seed to plant 474 hectares of forage oats for livestock feed.

The Governor highlighted that these support programs bring peace of mind to households by facilitating food preparation, reducing production costs, and opening up opportunities for additional income, especially for women working from their communities.
“When you support a farming family, you are supporting the economy of Guanajuato,” said Libia Dennise.

Marisol Suarez Correa, Secretary of Agriculture, explained that the poultry packages allow for the production of eggs and meat for family consumption, while the nixtamal mills avoid travel and additional expenses, particularly in remote locations.
Mayor, Ruben Urias Ruiz, acknowledged the joint work of the State, the Municipality and the benefitted families, and highlighted that these supports respond to the needs of those who work daily to keep the Ludovicense countryside productive.

In the community of Los Dolores, the Governor inaugurated the renovated recreational and sports facility, a project that cost 16.9 million pesos. The project, which originated from a request by local residents, now offers improved conditions for children, the young, and families to play sports, socialize, and strengthen community ties.
However, behind this field lies a story that goes beyond the infrastructure. The project revives the dream of Manuel, brother of Evelina Guzman Castaneda, a member of a search collective, who had envisioned a space where new generations could play soccer and find opportunities to develop.

“It is a space of memory. It is also a space where we remember those who remain present in our struggle and in our hearts,” said Libia Dennise.
The project included a soccer field with artificial turf, lighting, perimeter fencing and bleachers; in addition to the rehabilitation of the multi-purpose court, children’s play area, exercise equipment, restrooms, lighting and access areas.

Libia Dennise also reported that the paving of 1.04 kilometers of the road to La Mesa de Jesus was completed, with an investment of 7.84 million pesos, and announced that the rehabilitation of the San Luis de la Paz–Guanajuato highway is expected to begin in November, with resources allocated for 67.6 million pesos.
