The 7th Edition of ‘Purisima de Mil Sabores’ is this Sunday July 20th from 10am to 9pm in downtown Purisima del Rincon

Next Sunday July 20th in the plaza in front of the City Hall and the Manuel G. Aranda Market of Purisima del Rincon, the 7th Edition of Purisima de Mil Sabores will present 60 sales posts and service providers with gastronomy products, arts and crafts and products made by elders.
Roberto Garcia Urbano, Mayor of Purisima del Rincon, with Frida Ximena Huett Lopez, Director of Tourist Products of the Secretary of Tourism (SECTURI) and councilman Salvador Cruz Villegas; traditional cook Pascuala Garcia and the local Tourism Director Roberto Camargo, presented the Seventh Edition of A Thousand Flavors, as part of the Guanajuato Si Sabe of the Secretary of Tourism and Identity.
The goal in this edition is to receive more than the 11 thousand visitors that came to this event in 2024 and increase the spending report of 2.5 million pesos.
Purisima de Mil Sabores is celebrated as it creates 120 direct jobs and 60 indirect with cooks, waiters, artisans, producers and the value chain through 60 merchants of food by traditional cooks, snacks and deserts, arts and crafts, artisans workshops, etc.
The products to be presented by elders are an important part of the inclusion of this event, as well as the sale of non-alcohol drinks.
The municipalities that are invited until now are:
- Leon, Manuel Doblado, San Francisco del Rincon, Silao, among other that will bring and offer their gastronomy
This event is presented as totally cero plastics and conscious in the promotion of sustainability; with an invitation to visitors to help keep each space as clean as possible.
Frida Huett, reaffirmed that the gastronomic event Guanajuato Si Sabe, keeps its program in all of Guanajuato with excellent sales for the traditional cooks, who even before each date of event they already have food sold, proving that the methods of each cook is important to attract visitors.
The population of Purisima del Rincon and its visitors are all invited to enjoy the cultural program that also presents acts for all, from 10 am until 9 pm of Sunday July 20th, said Roberto Garcia Urbano.
Pascuala Ramirez, who has been selling traditional Purisimense food for the last 4 years in Purisima del Rincon, confirmed that her food is sold mainly to go and that she has been growing helped by the programs and opportunities offered by the Municipality to local merchants to improve, with training, equipment and personalized attention to provide a better service that they offer in this tourist area of Purisima del Rincon.
The Director of Municipal Tourism, Roberto Camargo Perez added that they work in training for merchants so that they offer better prices and services and also trying to balance and make more attractive the participation of the population.
