The Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, presented awards for Excellence and Academic Merit 2023 to young graduates of SABES high school and university.
The recognition is granted not only for their academic average, but also for their values and way of life, which they demonstrated during their academic development.
“Today I want to congratulate you for this great effort that you are doing, because you are creating success stories. SABES is already celebrating 27 years of history and we are very proud of this high school system”, said Governor Diego Sinhue.
632 award-winning students from all over Guanajuato participated in the event, 428 from high school and 204 from university, accompanied by their families.
The presentation of these recognitions generates an aspirational impact for the generations that are currently studying and preparing to be part of the Greatness of Mexico.
“We like that all Guanajuatenses have access to this education. Congratulations, you are an example”, expressed the Governor.
SABES is close to completing 27 years of education service and serves 42,045 high school students, with a presence in 39 of the 46 municipalities of the state through 268 education centers, located in Cities, rural and suburban communities and it has an offer in three modalities:
- General, technological and mixed
Throughout its history, SABES has already graduated 24 generations, which represents 173,704 graduates.
This system offers degree programs in:
- Business Administration and Development, (re-accredited by CACECA)
- Marketing, (re-accredited by CACECA)
- Industrial Engineering
- Engineering in information technologies (accredited by CONAIC)
SABES also offers a new education offer focused on Industry 5.0 and the Mindfacture, such as:
- Logistics Engineering
- Engineering in productive processes (dual training education)
SABES has 13 centers located in:
- Acambaro, Apaseo El Grande, Celaya, Comonfort, Juventino Rosas, Irapuato, Leon, Penjamo, Salvatierra, San Felipe, San Jose Iturbide, San Luis de La Paz and Villagran
SABES participates in the Social Pact for Education, with the enrollment of 1,650 high school students in the “Young Managers of School Coexistence and Mediation” program.
