The Secretary of National Defense strengthens the Public Security in Guanajuato

The Secretary of National Defense –SEDENA- through the Commands of the XII Military Region and 16th Military Zone, informed to citizens about the arrival of one thousand elements members of different organism of the Mexican Army and Air Force, as well as of the National Guard who are members of the Joint Task Force Mexico.
The military personnel are assigned to the municipalities of Irapuato, Pueblo Nuevo, Valle de Santiago, Jaral del Progreso, Leon and Celaya, to add on to the activities under way by Government Authorities to bring down the violence rates in Guanajuato, informed SEDENA in a press release.
The personnel arrives, informs the press report, with the commitment of strengthening inter-institution actions aimed at achieving Public Security in these municipalities, coordinated with Authorities of the 3 levels of Government –Federal, State and Municipal- to inhibit ilegal activities and with that strengthen inter-institution actions, acting at all times -states the press release of SEDENA- with full respect to human rights.
With these actions the commitment of the Government of Mexico through the Secretary of National Defense and the National Guard are confirmed to safeguard the well being, peace and security of the citizens of Guanajuato, informed SEDENA in its press release.
