An engine of the City
“You are an engine of this City, you provide a lot of jobs to families from Leon, and as long as you are doing good Leoneses will do good, we must help all people who lost their jobs, many of them are women”, said Ale Gutierrez in her meeting with entrepreneurs.
The members of CICEG were called by the President of the Institution, Alfredo Padilla Villalpando and also present was the Executive President of the Chamber, Alejandro Gomez Tamez. The shoemakers and the candidate agreed that the economic reactivation, the creation of jobs, more security, the protection of the environment and mobility, are topics that need to be taken care of in this Municipality.
Technological reactivation
Leon Market is a plan focused on promoting the economic reactivation working with technology, the idea is to adopt a platform to sell and promote products and services online.
Ale Gutierrez also plans to create and start the model -Power PyMe- focused on the creation and start of new companies.
Ale Gutierrez explained to Leones and Guanajuatense shoemakers her flag-projects:
- Living in peace
- Living healthy
- Living better
Organized and intelligent
“Preventing crime implies many actions that should be well organized, with intelligent planning and with indicators that are linked”, said Gutierrez as she talked about security.
Ale Gutierrez called on shoemakers to “be more participative as society and contribute to generate the change that we all want for Leon”.
No support from the Federal Government
Raul Horner, the Treasurer of CICEG, said that as a result of the pandemic the shoe sector lost 15,000 jobs and added that it is very clear now that those who create jobs and contribute to the economy of Mexico do not get the necessary support from the Federal Government.
“Companies survived thanks first to the persistence of entrepreneurs, I thank the State and the City’s governments for their support, that is from whom we did have support”, said Horner.
The pride of Leon
The Treasurer asked Ale Gutierrez to not lower the guard and to keep providing support so that they can keep creating jobs and recover the Leones pride of being shoemakers.
