Governor of Guanajuato, Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo was at the opening ceremony of the 20th Edition of the International Balloon Festival.
“This is a great event that puts Leon in the international map, and it fills all of us with great pride, because it has been 20 years now of this world class event”, said the Governor of Guanajuato.
During the pandemic Guanajuato has acted responsibly adopting many actions to prevent contagion. Next week the color for activities will go to Green, said the Governor who also called on people to keep observing health protection activities, wear a face mask and dress warm.
“We will make of the International Balloon Festival a great ‘fiesta’, this a rebirth after Covid 19, and we will do it with happiness and lots of care; these are days of joy where the sky is painted in colors in Leon”, said Rodriguez Vallejo.
