The Secretary of Infrastructure, Connectivity and Mobility –SICOM-, began the process for the execution of the work called Modernization of Solidaridad Boulevard, Salamanca 6th stage, in Irapuato, with the publication of the call for the national public tender number SICOM/OD/EK/LP/2022-090.
The Secretary reported that, according to the dates established the ruling will be announced on December 23, estimating a period of 240 calendar days for the execution of the work, which could begin in mid-January of 2023, to be finished in September of the same year.
With this work, continuity will be given to the modernization of Solidaridad Boulevard, one of the most important roads in Irapuato, since it crosses the entire urban sprawl of the city, from the access from Leon to the exit to Salamanca.
This work is part of the actions announced by Governor Diego Sinhue Rodriguez Vallejo, during the first Government report of Mayor Lorena Alfaro.
The work includes the construction of a 280-meter section on the road leading to Salamanca, which includes a bridge over the Guanajuato River.
The vehicular bridge will have a span of 30.2 meters in length, and the central section of the structure has a total width of 30.95 meters; it also has 4 lanes of 3.25 meters wide each in the direction towards Irapuato and 3 lanes of 3.25 meters in the direction towards Salamanca, in addition to sidewalks and external parapets of 2 meters on average made with hydraulic concrete.
For local traffic a 95-meter-long side street will be paved with asphalt concrete it has two lanes of 4.50 meters each on average and sidewalks, which allow for connecting to the parallel street to the Guanajuato River.
